Laffodils Preschool, located in San Fransico, CA, does not specifically mention Reggio Emilia in their Pinterest bio. However, their pins are Reggio-Inspired and I have found them to be really helpful when searching. They pin often, having over 4400 pins, and have created specific categories of pins, such as Loose Parts and Earth, Moon, Sun which make it easy to browse their profile and find some great ideas for your own classroom. Also, if you want to learn more about Laffodils Preschool and read about their specific program, you can visit their website too!
Kate is an ultimate homeschooling Mama! She has a fantastic blog and a really great Instagram account that I follow. Kate takes into account that both moms and teachers are her audience and has combined these two worlds beautifully in her Pinterest account, Instagram, and blog. With over 12000 pins, there isn’t much that you can’t find when scrolling through her Pins. Following Kate, is definitely a must!
Ok, so this time I didn’t put myself first, but I do think I should mention myself too! I’m an avid pinner and have my pins broken down into specific categories to make it easier to search and find what you need. I have a slew of great educators and homeschooling moms that I follow that add a lot to my Pinterst boards too. If you like Smitten, you’ll enjoy my Pinterest account too! Plus you can find me on Instagram and Twitter!
I love Diane’s Pinterest boards and really enjoy her blog as well. Diane is an instructor at Ryerson University in Toronto, and her blogs reflect her knowledge in curriculum and early childhood. Her Pins reflect her love for Reggio Emilia and beliefs of play-based learning. Diane is definitely one to look for on Pinterest and Twitter!
This has to be on the list. Reggio Kids is where I found so much of my inspiration when I first began my journey in Reggio Emilia, and was trying to understand the ins and outs of the philosophy. Reggio Kids is a private preschool in Ontario that is ran by one super rad Mother of 3, Tiziana! If that isn’t amazing, I don’t know what is! Tiziana’s site is fantastic as well, and is one you should definitely add to your list!
This list by no means, even comes close to hitting the thousands of great educators that are on Pinterest, however, it will give you a great start to begin your Reggio journey in the right place. Happy Pinning!
