When I was in my third year of teaching I had a grade 2/3 split class, I had just started my Master’s degree in Education that summer, I was pregnant with my son, and I had an intern student from the University! I had a lot on my plate that fall and I wasn’t sure if my intern would be open to dive into teaching and try her hand at documentation. Well, to my surprise, she dove in head first. This was her first try at it and I think she did a great job portraying to families the learning that took place that day.
Needless to say, she continued on her road to success, graduating with the only education award given to interns and landed a pretty amazing teaching job after graduation! You did me proud girl!!
